Course outline

A one day event providing an introduction to IGEM/UP/2 Edition 3 which covers installation pipework for industrial and commercial premises.

Key outcomes/objectives

On completion of this course delegates will gain:

- an appreciation of the underpinning legislation and regulations initiating
  change
- an understanding of the relationship with other IGEM standards

- Buried pipework, PE and tie-in for new supplies
- Welding of high pressure pipework
- Pressure regulation and hot tapping connections
- Pressure reduction, material selection and construction

- Gas leakage and DSEAR
- Commissioning and maintenance
