About Green Frog

"Since our inception in 2009, we have been at the forefront of changes in the energy market, and the National Grid relies on us to plug the gaps. We were the first to enter long-term contracts with National Grid to build new balancing plant, the first to commission such plant and the first to build a new gas-fired power plant under the Capacity Market. Our flexible and affordable solutions enable the low-carbon revolution to continue apace, whilst addressing the rising concerns around future energy security.

"Within the UK’s energy markets, we have a reputation for quickly understanding the demands of low-carbon power networks. Our plant portfolio stabilises and balances the system second by second, facilitating wind and solar power generation, thus lowering our collective carbon footprint.

"Our fraternity of Green Frog companies enables us to offer a full turnkey solution. We can handle every aspect of power generation, from site development and project management through to infrastructure connections, operations and maintenance, and power trading. To date, all Green Frog power plant have been built and connected to the grid on time and under budget.

"Right now, we’re building a further 20 gas powered power plants quietly and efficiently in all corners of the UK – each one of which will ensure that the power to your home is delivered as cleanly and as consistently as possible.

"Our proprietary systems and software are the best in the world at grid stabilisation. Yet we constantly seek out better, faster and cheaper solutions. One day, we hope to reduce our own carbon footprint to zero."
